On December 13, 2024, Onward Tosa submitted a Letter of Intent regarding this project to the Mayor and the City of Wauwatosa. To date, we have not received a response. However, recent local news reports suggest that the project is likely pursuing city funding. Onward Tosa will not endorse this project if it requires the use of taxpayer dollars or substantial public incentives.
While it has the potential to address housing affordability, we’ve outlined key conditions for our support, including:

A public community listening session.

Maintaining affordable housing commitments.

No city-funded contributions (e.g., TIFs).

A traffic study to address neighborhood concerns.

Increasing setbacks along West Cathedral Avenue.
This is NOT an outright endorsement but a step toward collaboration for responsible development.
